General Terms and Conditions for the online purchase of tickets
1. These General Terms and Conditions of Reed Exhibitions Limited, Gateway House, 28 The Quadrant, Richmond, Surrey TW9 1DN, United Kingdom (Organiser).
2. By placing your order you give your consent to your ticket and invoice/receipt being sent to you by email in the form of an electronic invoice/receipt in accordance with § 14, paragraph 1, clause 2 of the Sales Tax Act (UStG). You will receive the invoice/receipt of the Organiser by email and will find the invoice/receipt document attached. The invoice/receipt should be kept at least for the statutory retention periods, where appropriate in the form of electronic archiving. These electronic documents should be presented in the event of a tax audit. The file names of the attachments can be changed, although any change of the invoice/receipt content results in the loss of validity of the invoice/receipt for tax purposes, meaning that the tax authorities will be longer recognise them as proof of pre-tax deductions or business expenses.
3. The products and services as presented on the website do not constitute legally binding offerings of the Organiser; they merely constitute a non-binding online catalogue. Click the "Buy" button to place a binding order. An automatic email will immediately be issued by the Organiser as confirmation and acceptance of your order. This confirmation email signals the conclusion of the purchase contract.
4. The admission tickets should be paid for before the event by credit card, Klarna,online transaction or PayPal.
5. The booking is binding. It is not possible to exchange or return admission tickets.
6. The admission tickets shall be sent in the form of eTickets to the email address provided. No delivery costs are charged. Please print out the eTicket. The printed version should not be reduced in scale. Ensure that the barcode is not damaged in any way. Have the eTicket available for scanning by the admission machines in the entrance areas. Once the ticket has been scanned, you will be issued your personalised badge granting you access to the relevant event. You may be asked to show proof of identity.
7. The sale of admission tickets and/or e-tickets to third parties is prohibited. Admission tickets and/or e-tickets for trade visitors / private visitors many only be used by the trade visitors / private visitors for whom they were ordered. In order to satisfy the controls instituted by the organiser, each trade visitor must be able to verify their identity by means of an official identity document with photo to demonstrate that they are the individual named on the admission ticket and/or e-ticket. Should one or more of the preceding provisions be violated, the admission tickets and/or e-tickets shall be rendered invalid. Following purchase of their admission tickets, private visitors have to right to change the name on an e-ticket one time in the organiser's ticket shop and to transfer this ticket to a third party on this basis. In this case, the order is considered to have been placed for this third party.
8. By attending the event, you recognise the hygiene and infection protection standards applicable to the event as binding, and undertake to comply with and observe all relevant statutory and official regulations and orders, and the instructions of the Organiser and the exhibition company responsible for the Event. In the event of violation of hygiene and infection protection standards, the visitor may be expelled from the event location at any time and re-entry prohibited for the duration of the Event. We reserve the right to exercise further rights and to assert further claims against you.
9. If the Organiser is forced to relocate the event for reasons which are not within his control, this shall not absolve the purchaser of his payment obligations.
10. The commercial use of privately made photographs/video recordings is prohibited at the event. Participants should follow the instructions of the organisation team at the event. The house rules apply of the operator of the exhibition centre at which the Organiser's event is held.
11. There are no verbal sub-agreements. Any changes and additions to these General Terms and Conditions must be made in writing. This also applies to any change or supplement to, or revocation of, the clause requiring the written form itself.
12. Should any provisions in these General Terms and Conditions prove invalid or become so in the future, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these General Terms and Conditions. In this case, a substitute provision shall be formulated which most closely reflects the commercial purpose of the invalid one.
13. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies exclusively; the UN CISG is excluded. The court of jurisdiction for disputes arising from and in connection with these General Terms and Conditions is exclusively Düsseldorf in Germany for all legal transactions with companies.
14. RX Deutschland GmbH is not prepared to participate in dispute settlement proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
15. Only the German version of these General Terms and Conditions is authoritative.
